CLASSES WE OFFER
PERFORMING ARTS
Performing Arts classes are for students from age 4 to 18. Students work towards two shows per year, performing more frequently than many theatre schools, as we believe pupils flourish when they perform often to friends and family. Students are also given the opportunity to perform in London at a leading West End theatre.
PRESCHOOL PERFORMING ARTS
We offer our very popular performing arts classes to children aged 3 and 4 who have not yet started reception class. This lesson offers an introduction to drama, singing and movement, promoting self confidence and independence.
PERFORMANCE DANCE
Our Performance Dance classes for students aged 7 and above focus on musical theatre jazz and lyrical styles. Students take part in our annual Showcase at South Mill Arts, Bishops Stortford.
SINGING PERFORMANCE LESSONS
One to one singing lessons give students the opportunity to improve technique and telling of a story through song, expand their repertoire and enter LAMDA Musical Theatre Examinations.
LAMDA EXAM TUITION
We offer tuition in Acting, Verse & Prose, Reading for Performance, Devising, Mime and Public Speaking LAMDA examinations. We have an excellent success rate with numerous students scoring 100% in previous exam sessions. Numerous students have gone on to successfully audition for the National Youth Theatre.
SHOW TEAMS
Entry to the show and competition team is by invitation only. The team have performed in many events locally including the annual Sawbridgeworth and Bishop's Stortford Christmas lights, the Sawbridgeworth mayor's civic dinner and the nationwide Showstoppers competition. Students also enter musical theatre and drama competitions and have reached the All England Dance Regional Finals.
